How Will Crokini Swim Fit Me?

We at Crokini understand how difficult it can be to find a bikini that fits you perfectly, that is why we have created a special fit guide so you know exactly how our bikinis will fit you, and what size/ style you should buy.

Crokini Swim believes in creating pieces that are flattering for all body types. We believe that shopping for swimwear should never be intimidating, or negative in any way.

All our bikinis have adjustable straps, so you can find your best fit. Our bikini straps are made from stretch material, making them easy to adjust as well as flattering.

Our standard sizes are S/M and M/L; please refer to the charts below for your sizing.

We have two main models on our website SEDA and YAZ. SEDA is the blonde, YAZ is the brunette.

SEDA is a EU 38 and wears a 34B she wears a Crokini S/M. YAZ is a EU 36 and wears a 32C, she also wears S/M.

If you are a EU size 42+ or have a cup size 34D+ we recommend that you get in touch with us before placing your order. Due to the nature of crochet, we want to get all measurements correct, before starting production on your bikini. With bigger cup sizes the fit is of the utmost importance to the garment. When you give us your measurements, we will make you a Crokini that will fit you like a glove. This is not considered a customized order.

The Mahakam Top:

One of Crokinis best sellers, the Mahakam is an easy top because it is practical, adjustable and flattering! This suit is designed to fit all sizes. A simple triangle top can be the hardest pattern to get, trust us the shape is the most important part of the bikini! This bikini is crocheted to accommodate your chest; it is not just a straight stitch. This bikini is best suited to fit sizes up to a D Cup. The neckties and back ties are all fully adjustable so you can adjust this suit to perfection.

FAQs about this style:

  1. I have a large bust; does this top offer any support? Although this top is better suited for smaller cups, someone with a larger bust size can also wear it. The top is crocheted to accommodate your bust, ie. It is not just a straight crochet stitch. If you have a DDD/E/F size cup we recommend you get in touch with us before placing your order and we will make your bikini according to your measurements.
  2. What size should I buy the Mahakam in? The Mahakam is offered in both S/M and M/L. If you are between a EU 34-38 then you should buy S/M if you are a EU 38-44 then you should buy M/L.
  3. Is this bikini suited for someone who swims everyday? Of course! This bikini is ideal for a real beach goer. It is perfect for everyday use; just make sure to follow our care for instructions and you will be all set.

The Melissa Top

This bandeau style top is perfect for any bust size, body type or in any occasion! The top is a straight stitch, and its slightly loose giving you a comfortable fit around your bust. It laces up at the back like a corset, so you can make it tighter/looser whenever you want. It is a strapless style, but offers support to large bust sizes too.

FAQs about this style:

  1. Does this top offer any real support? Yes! It totally does. If you have a larger cup size (C+) you can still wear this style. The support remains in the back of the bikini, where you tie it up. The tighter you tie it the more snug it will fit.
  2. I have a DD+ bust, can I wear a strapless style like this? It depends on you. We offer this style in all our sizes, but when you have a large bust it is difficult to wear strapless with no underwire or padding. We are happy to add straps to this style if that makes you feel more comfortable. Please get in touch with us before purchasing your order and we will be sure to make you feel as comfortable as possible.

The Zenni Top

This is a bandeau style top best suited for A-B cup girls. It was designed specifically for small-busted girls, and it’s the perfect bikini top! This top is crocheted such that it remains snug around you despite the fact that is it a bandeau style. It features Lycra straps at the back so you can adjust it to your perfect fit.

FAQs about this style:

  1. How does this top hold me in place? The bandeau cups are crocheted such that they offer you support, they are essentially cups but crocheted. You adjust the fit from the back of the bikini, to insure it fits snugly.
  2. I’m a size C+ can I wear this top? No, this style is not recommended for people with a larger cup size. It does not offer enough support for that.
  3. Its got a lot of detail on it, will my nipples show through? No, this style comes full lined with a nude Lycra lining (if you do not want a lining please contact us and we will give it to you without the lining).
  4. I’m in between a B-C cup size, can I wear this style? If you usually wear boob tube tops, or bandeau strapless styles and you feel comfortable in them then this style will suit you. It really depends on your personal taste and preference.
  5. Is this style suitable for actual swimming? Although all our bikinis are made for the sea, this style offers less support so it might be best if you wear it as more of a fashion piece than actual swimming. If you feel comfortable with a strapless suit, then you are welcome to swim in your Zenni Top!

Our model SEDA is a EU size 36 bra size 32B and wears a S/M

FAQs about this style:

  1. I’m in between A-B will this top suit me or will I look very flat chested? The beauty of this top is that is suits both large, and small busts. If you have a small chest and you wear this style, it accentuates your waist more.
  2. I’m a D+ cup size; will this style offer me support? If you have a large bust this style will still offer you support. It is designed to cover up more of your chest than the average bikini so if you are self conscious about your bust size, then this is the top for you. It is also crocheted in such a way that it offers a lot of support.

The Mahakam Bottoms

These bottoms are offered in both low waist, and mid waist options. The mid waist should hit you right under your belly button. The sides have adjustable straps so you can actually change where the bikini bottom hits you. It depends entirely on you! The low waist bottoms should hit you on your hip line.

FAQs about this style:

  1. Which size should I get these bottoms in? The good thing about Crokini bottoms are, they are all adjustable by straps so even if you get a M/L, and you are actually a S/M, they will still fit you. It comes down to preference really if you prefer a tighter fit and a cheekier bottom, then get a S/M. If you would rather have it a little looser with a bit more coverage, get the M/L.
  2. What’s the difference between the mid waist and low waist? The mid waist offers more coverage on the back, as well as on the front. It should be a little high waisted, coming right under your belly button. The low waisted is cheekier, with a tanga cut, it also falls right at your hip line exposing your whole torso. Again, when choosing between these two, it comes down to your own personal preference. It depends on what you feel more comfortable with.

Our model YAZ is an EU size 38 bra size 32C and wears a S/M

The Melissa Bottoms

These bottoms have a slightly higher cut, meaning they should be tied above your hipbones. If you have smaller hips, these will suit you better because they will give the illusion that you have a fuller bottom. It’s the same concept as the scrunched bikini bottoms in regular swimwear.

FAQs about this style

  1. I’m a EU 38-40 which size would suit be better? This style is also easy to adjust due to the Lycra ties. You can make a small bikini look bigger by loosening the straps of the bikini bottoms. If you are between a 38-40 it would depend on your personal preference. If you prefer a tighter fit, and if you have relatively small hips then you should choose the S/M. If you have large hips, and don’t want the bottoms to be too cheeky then you should choose a M/L.
  2. How do the bikini bottoms stay up? These bottoms actually made slightly smaller than the average size so they are cheeky and show a lot more skin. They stay up with the ties on the sides, which you can adjust for your own comfort/sizing.

It’s a figure-flattering piece that is great on any body type. The low waist option should fall at your hipbones.

FAQs about this style

  1. This looks like a complicated bikini, how do you get into it?! It’s actually very simple, we send you the bikini with the sides pre-laced so you know how it should be done. If you have fairly narrow hips (EU size 34) then you can slip into it. If you are a bit larger then you need to undo the ties to the bottom and slip in, and redo them. It’s easy once you get the hang of it!
  2. I’m a size 44 and I want more coverage would this size work for me? Yes absolutely. This bottom is perfect for any size, and it is designed to hide your lower tummy. With the adjustable side panels even if you buy a smaller size you will still fit into it. If you are a bit larger we always encourage you to contact us through our website before purchasing, we want you to be happy with your purchase so getting your measurements before you order is a must.
  3. What’s the difference between low waist and high waist? The low waist is better suited for people with long torso’s and smaller hips. The high waist is also much more of a statement piece, as well as a lot of intricate detail and work!
